Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PromptIQ Chrome extension, website, accounts, and Premium subscription. By using PromptIQ, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

PromptIQ scores, stores, structures, and improves user-written prompts on supported AI platforms. An account and express prompt-storage consent are required before the extension accesses a chat composer. Free Smart Template processing runs locally, while recent prompt-draft revisions and optimization history are stored under your account as described in the Privacy Policy. Cloud AI processing also sends prompts you choose to optimize to PromptIQ's server and an AI provider selected through OpenRouter, with Google Gemini available as a service fallback.

2. Accounts

An account is required to use the PromptIQ extension. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must not misuse the service, attempt to bypass usage limits, interfere with other users, or use PromptIQ for unlawful activity.

3. Plans and Billing

The Free plan is available without charge. Premium is US$1 per month, excluding applicable taxes. Any applicable taxes are additional and must be disclosed before you confirm a payment. Premium subscriptions are processed by Razorpay and renew according to the billing schedule accepted during checkout.

You can request cancellation through PromptIQ support. Cancellation stops future renewals and normally takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

4. Usage Limits

Free accounts include 100 Smart Template optimizations and 5 cloud AI trial optimizations per day. Premium includes 50 cloud AI optimizations and 200 Smart Template optimizations per day. Limits reset daily and may be adjusted for service reliability, abuse prevention, or product changes after reasonable notice.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the prompts and other content you submit. You grant PromptIQ the limited right to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service. Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use.

6. AI Output

PromptIQ and third-party AI services can produce incomplete or inaccurate results. You are responsible for reviewing optimized prompts and any AI-generated response before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, employment, or safety-critical decisions.

7. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, comply with platform rules, or improve the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
